Independent living is a huge factor for those with visual impairments. Designed with this group in mind, Eyeon uses inductive heating technology to allow for an easier, safer, and more effective iron. By releasing the user from a restricting chord, the iron not only enables free, easy movement, but also allows for added safety features which inform the user, through a light, when the soleplate is hot, and when the water tank is almost full.
